In the next CU Social, participants will venture to learn about plants of prior mega-annums found in New Jersey and other nearby areas. This presentation is a family-friendly affair that all ages of learners are encouraged to attend.
Hundreds of millions of years ago, the Earth was very different than what we observe today. From towering dinosaurs down to small insects, animals relied on plant life to power their lives.
What plants were alive during the time of the dinosaurs? Join Academy of Natural Sciences educator Amber Guzzi to discover the secrets of a long-lost realm and see real fossilized plants from a world long ago!
Amber Guzzi is a Geoscience Educator at the Academy of Natural Sciences with specialty focuses on fossil preparation and Late Jurassic theropods.
