Citizens United To Protect The Maurice River - Duck Waddle / 2-15-25
Join CU Maurice River for the annual Duck Waddle, a guided caravan-style tour led by CU Naturalists Tony Klock and Mary Watkins to explore some of South Jersey's premier hotspots in the Atlantic Flyway for observing ducks. From common species to more unique sightings, we're sure to encounter a variety of waterfowl. We’ll meet at the CU Maurice River office and travel together, making stops at key locations along the way. Dress warmly and come ready to enjoy a morning of birdwatching and camaraderie in the great outdoors.
The Maurice River Watershed's wetlands support large numbers of migratory waterfowl (and raptors) each winter. This is just one of the outstandingly remarkable resource values that led to 35.4 miles of river being designated by the National Park Service as Wild and Scenic.Date and Time
