Join CU Maurice River and Diane Rogers from the Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts for "Art & Nature," an event for the whole family where nature and creativity come together!

Explore how the natural world has influenced art and enjoy the opportunity to create your own masterpiece. Using a microscope, you'll identify and sketch patterns and organisms found in nature, and even make your own paint from natural materials.

Throughout the session you’ll also learn about famous and local artists who have been inspired by nature, seeing how the beauty of the environment—such as the pristine habitats and biodiversity of the Maurice River and surrounding areas—has shaped their work. Whether you’re an established or aspiring artist or you simply appreciate the wonders of nature, this event offers a unique opportunity to connect with both through creativity
