Join CU Maurice River for CU Saturday: Take A Hike With Jane, featuring CU Maurice River board president Jane Galetto as she wraps up the year with a scenic outing to the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge.

Experience the beauty of this 48,000-acre coastal habitat which will be explored by car on on foot, depending on the weather.  The goal is to seek out migratory birds arriving for the winter while appreciating the seasonal sights of this important refuge.

Established in 1984 and named in honor of a New Jersey congressman, the land is steeped in history, once home to the Lenape, who relied on its wetlands for sustenance.  Today, it stands preserved for future generations, offering a vital sanctuary for wildlife.

After the hike, you're invited to join CU Maurice for lunch at Oyster Creek Inn.
