Citizens United To Protect The Maurice River - Volunteer Workgroups: WheatonArts Gardens / 4-29, 4-30 and 5-1-25

Join CU Maurice River at the WheatonArts Gardens on April 29, 30, and/or May to ready them for the WheatonArts ECO Fair on May 3. Volunteers will be installing interactive stations, transplanting obedient plant (Physostegia virginiana) into the woodchipped area by the sign, and weeding to prepare the space for new spring growth.

The interactive stations consist of mailboxes with educational activities inside and will require installing a post into the ground with cement.

Funding for CU's outdoor education programs and activities comes from the National Park Service's Wild and Scenic Rivers Program.
