Join CU Naturalist Karen Williams for an engaging class about corvids. The Corvidae family includes a fascinating array of birds such as crows, ravens, magpies, jays, and more.
In this session, you’ll explore which of these species can be found right here in southern New Jersey, and dive into the unique characteristics and behaviors that set corvids apart from other bird families.
Whether you’re just starting out in birdwatching or have years of experience, you’ll leave with a greater appreciation for these intelligent and resourceful birds, and a deeper understanding of their important role in our local ecosystems.
Bring note-taking supplies. As the talk runs through usual dinner hours, participants are invited to bring a snack to share.
